  1. Establish an Affiliate RYS (Registered Yoga School) with Yoga Alliance and become authorized to use the Radiant Life Yoga School syllabi in your 200 and 300 hour teacher training courses.
  2. Engage Kimberly Waugh as a Lead Trainer for your program.

How Affiliate RYS Program Status Works with Yoga Alliance

A studio owner or an independent ERYT 200 or RYT 500  yoga teacher can create an account with Yoga Alliance and apply for a RYS membership as an ‘affiliate’ with an existing member school or Primary RYS. (see the screen shots)

  1. The application fee with Yoga Alliance is ($400) + the annual fee ($240) = $640 to register and establish the affiliate RYS.
  2. As an Affiliate RYS the studio agrees to terms of service of Yoga Alliance and uses the approved curricula of the host RYS in their teacher training program.
  3. The Affiliate RYS has their own account, separate branding, and social credentialing system.
  4. The teacher training program must have a designated lead trainer that meets the Yoga Alliance trainer requirements and is a registered Yoga Alliance teacher (E-RYT 200 or E- RYT 500 for a 200 hour or an ERYT-500 for a 300 hour program).
  5. *Affiliate status is renewable each year.

How Affiliate Collaboration Can Work with Radiant Life Yoga School

Residential Retreat Programs

  1. Initial $500 Affiliate Status Fee to Radiant Productions, Inc.
  2. Create an account with Yoga Alliance, start a RYS 200 or 300 Track, request affiliate status with Radiant Life Yoga School as the Primary RYS. (A RYS 200 account is preliminary to a RYS 300 account.)
  3. As Lead Trainer, Kimberly Waugh E-RYT 500 is contracted to deliver a minimum of 65 program hours.
  4. Retreat Programs have a per student fee of $1200 usd/student  + travel expenses and accommodations.

Non- Residential Training Programs

  1. Initial $500 Affiliate Status Fee to Radiant Productions, Inc.
  2. Create an account with Yoga Alliance, start a RYS 200 or 300 Track, request affiliate status with Radiant Life Yoga School as the Primary RYS. A RYS 200 account is preliminary to a RYS 300 account.
  3. As Lead Trainer, Kimberly Waugh E-RYT 500 is contracted to deliver a minimum of 65 program hours. Lead Trainer hours are billed at $100/hour (+ travel expenses).

With Kimberly Waugh as Lead Trainer, the remaining 135 program hours (or any portion thereof) are billed at $100/hour (+ travel expenses) up to 8 students with a sliding pay out rate for each student over 9 with a 50 (trainer)/50 (studio) split of the total 200 hour program fee /student.

  • Adjunct Trainer compensation hours are billed at the discretion of the Affiliate RYS program manager.
  • Session agendas can be provided to help facilitate the course content that the Adjunct Trainer is presenting.
  • Program content can be divided between Adjunct Trainers so that each trainer is delivering content that is within their range of expertise and within their area of interest.
  • Two Mentoring hours are required for each Adjunct Trainer.
  • Mentoring hours are billed at $80/hour and can be held virtually via skype.

RYT 200 Hour Programs can have up to 2 Lead Trainers and RYT 500 (300 hour) programs can have up to five lead trainers.

Kimberly Waugh (E-RYT 500) brings to the program expertise gained from 19 years of sharing yoga with over 5000 classroom hours of adapting postures to meet the needs of students, insight from leading 15 teacher training programs and best practices from 7 years of running a successful yoga retreat business.

She is committed to supporting other teachers in the development of their unique teaching style as well as in the advancement of their teaching career so that more people can enjoy the life-long benefits of yoga.

Extensive classroom experience with a focus on service led Kimberly in the direction of yoga teacher training program design, curriculum development and technical writing for resource manuals. In addition to empowering local teachers, she is invested in hosting educational retreats that have a focus on charitable giving through selfless service.

As a professional she has witnessed trends in the yoga industry evolve over the past two decades and now, more than ever, she would like to demonstrate through her teaching the positive influence and layered benefits that the practices of yoga offer while continuing to advance professional standards in the yoga community.
